I have loved my transition to mommy-hood. Friday evening, June 25th, Maggie entered the world. I can not tell you how blessed I have been since she has arrived. I love holding her, feeding her, and just looking at her. New life is truly a miracle from God. Even though sleep has been sporadic and tough situations will arise I have enjoyed every moment.
As one of our church members said, it is all about your perspective. I am keeping in mind that Maggie will only be this small once and that she will grow and change everyday. I am also taking every moment to heart because as one life entered the world Friday night another couple in the hospital was saying goodbye to their 39 week old child. My heart breaks for this couple. The cries of agony from the nearby room were heart wrenching. Sam and I are so blessed to have Maggie in our lives. Oh how we love her!
I am also so thankful for Sam and my mom. They have allowed me to rest and take care of Maggie while they take care of things around the house and Maggie while I rest. God, thank You for the many blessings in my life.
